As we resist the devil and submit to God we see the need to repent and get things right with God. As you do this it will probably bum you out. I mean you are going about you daily business and wham you realize your relationship with God is slipping. That should make you sad, but now you can do something about it by confession and repentance. God will restore your relationship through forgiveness. Now here is where we need to be careful. We have resisted the devil, submitted to God, repented and been forgiven, but do you think Satan will stop messing with you? No, he will continue the attack by trying to get you to start looking down your nose at others. To judge them because you are right with God and they are not. You are doing the right things to build the relationship stronger and they don’t even read Ron’s Ramblings much less their Bible. They are so stupid, so lame, if they could only be like you. That is judging and we do not have the right to do that. ONLY GOD is the one with power to save and to destroy, not you.

So be careful and as you grow in Christ, remember we are to love each other. We can help to pull a friend along, strengthen the weaker brother and show by example what is right and good.

Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Stop and think- Is my life in order? When do I judge others? Who do I judge most of the time? Who can I love a little better today?
